help your teen understand the importance of personal hygiene

How do you teach a teenage boy the importance of personal hygiene? I thought that I had done enough as my son was growing up to make him understand how important it was for him to take care of his body and his teeth. Unfortunately, once he reached the age in which he should be able to take care of these things without being told, he started slacking on how well he was taking care of himself. This lead to different problems that needed to be addressed by a doctor and a dentist. This blog will show you what can happen and give you a few tips to help your teen understand the importance of personal hygiene.

4 Tips for Getting Beautiful Brows

Eyebrows frame your face. They draw attention to your eyes and help you express your feelings to others. In order to make your brows look as good as possible, you'll need to perform a little maintenance. Here are four tips to get beautiful eyebrows:

1. Shape them.

If you haven't done anything to your eyebrows in the past, you may not know where to begin. Beautiful eyebrows begin with a lovely shape. The shape of everyone's face is different, and your eyebrows should accent your natural bone structure. A brow specialist will be able to help you find the right shape for you.

Visit a salon that specializes in brow threading. This is a classic hair removal technique where a professional uses a long thread to gently and precisely pluck unwanted hairs. The process is quick and relatively painless.

2. Keep them tidy.

In between threading appointments, you can do your part to keep your eyebrows looking neat. As stray hairs appear, feel free to pluck them with tweezers. This will keep your eyebrows looking great for longer. If your eyebrows begin to get a little too long, you can use a small pair of scissors to carefully trim the tips of your brow hairs.

3. Fill in the gaps.

If you're like most people, you may have some gaps in your eyebrows. Fortunately, you can disguise this easily with a brow powder or pencil. Use your product of choice to carefully feather in color. Try to make strokes in the same direction that your brow hairs naturally grow. You want to mimic the look of natural hairs, so your eyebrows don't look too harsh or dark once you're finished. Remember to add a little bit of color at a time. It's easier to add more color than to remove it once you've started.

4. Use a brow pomade.

Once you've darkened your brows to a suitable level for your complexion, you should use a brow pomade to hold the hairs in place. This will give your brows an intentional look. If your brows are already quite thick and dark, you may want to choose a clear pomade. A clear coat won't add any additional color, but they will keep your brows from becoming tangled. People with lighter, thinner brows might prefer a tinted brow product. This will make your brows look fuller and thicker, which can be desirable for some looks.
